The Realise Mentoring Programme has now closed for new applications.

The current set of business government backed support programmes will end on 31 March 2011.  A new business support programme is expected to be in place by May.  If you think your organisation may benefit by accessing the support provided through the new programme you should check the Scottish Government web pages for updated information on a regular basis or keep in touch with developments through information provided in third sector publications and newsletters such as TFN (Third Force News) and the Senscot Bulletin.

Once the new programme is in place you should apply for support using the contact details provided on the Scottish Government web site or by using the information provided in third sector publications and newsletters.

The intention is to provide the support needed to help enterprising third sector organisations meet their potential to deliver more and better services across Scotland over the next 3 years.  This is to be achieved through:

  • A £3 million contract for 2011-14 to provide business development support to enterprising third sector organisations.

  • Direct investment in those third sector organisations with the potential to grow through a new £4 million fund.

  • A contract to provide support to public bodies to help ensure that public sector markets are open to the third sector.

Once it becomes available, information on the start-up of the new programme and contact details will be provided on the Scottish Government’s web site at:
